Welcome, folks, to the Biden Administration. Last week President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris took their oaths of office. And with no balls or parties to attend, his staff got right to work signing new executive orders, firing old staff, and redecorating the Oval Office. This week we talk about what stood out from the week and where the country goes from here. We also share our thoughts on the two-part Tiger documentary on HBO MAX as well as NBC's new show, Mr. Mayor.
Donald Trump has been defeated, Joe Biden will be the 46th President of the United States, and Kamala Harris will be the next Vice President the first woman, the first black woman, the first Asian-American woman, and the first multiracial American to hold the office. And part of the reason that happened is because of the city of Philadelphia. So what happened this past week, is it all good news, and where does the country go from here. We talk about all of that as well as share our thoughts on Black Christmas, Life Is Beautiful, and some other horror movies to watch.
Donald Trump shockingly if not unsurprisingly, tested positive for the coronavirus. But he's not the only one after the White House hosted a super-spreader event in the Rose Garden. How did this happen, what does the recovery process look like, and how will the effect the election? We talk about all of that with a respiratory therapist who has been on the front line in Philadelphia. We also share our thoughts on three Netflix movies: Enola Holmes, American Murder, and Dick Johnson is Dead.
Also What Is TikTok?
Last week President Trump signed an executive order banning the Chinese video-sharing app TikTok unless it's sold, citing national security concerns. So when looking into the story the first thing we had to do was find out what TikTok is, why does Trump hates it so much, and are these concerns legitimate. We talk about all of that as well as the second season of Umbrella Academy and Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich both streaming on Netflix
An armed gunman released 13 hostages after the President of Ukraine agreed to recommend a movie starring Joaquin Phoenix. We talk about how all of this went down and what Joaquin Phoenix movie saved those people's lives. We also share this week's movie suggestions including the Elisabeth Moss movie Shirley on Hulu and the Rosamund Pike movie Radioactive on Amazon Prime.
Michael Cohen Is Going To Jail

They also share their thoughts on Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, The Ballad of Buster Shrugs, and the best movie Santa.
REMEMBERING John McCain
John McCain died last week after a battle with brain cancer. He was 81. McCain was an American hero, who spent five years as a prisoner of war in Vietnam and was a six-term U.S. Senator, who ran for President twice, in 2000 and 2008. This week on the show we take the time to remember his life and service to the country. We also talk about the new movie Kin and the Netflix show Disenchantment.
