Welcome, folks, to the Biden Administration. Last week President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris took their oaths of office. And with no balls or parties to attend, his staff got right to work signing new executive orders, firing old staff, and redecorating the Oval Office. This week we talk about what stood out from the week and where the country goes from here. We also share our thoughts on the two-part Tiger documentary on HBO MAX as well as NBC's new show, Mr. Mayor.
Donald Trump has been defeated, Joe Biden will be the 46th President of the United States, and Kamala Harris will be the next Vice President the first woman, the first black woman, the first Asian-American woman, and the first multiracial American to hold the office. And part of the reason that happened is because of the city of Philadelphia. So what happened this past week, is it all good news, and where does the country go from here. We talk about all of that as well as share our thoughts on Black Christmas, Life Is Beautiful, and some other horror movies to watch.
Last week Senator Kamala Harris was announced as Joe Biden's running mate. She made history becoming the first Black woman and the first person of South Asian descent to be on a major party's ticket. It's officially go time. So what led to the decision after a contentious primary, how did the Republicans respond, and what happens now. We talk about all of that and share our reviews of Project Power and The Half of It streaming on Netflix as well as Perry Mason and Richard Jewell streaming on HBO.
