The streaming wars are here and right now it appears that Disney is winning. They have almost everything you remember from your childhood along with Marvel and Pixar movies and new content like The Mandalorian. This week Ryan and Zach talk about what this new channel and what it could mean for the future of home viewing. They also share their thoughts on the new Tom Hanks movie A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood.
Ryan was in Denver, so this week I was joined by my wonderful wife to do a mini episode, a baby-sode if you will, about what's going on behind the scenes at home and how our lives have changed now that we have a 3-month old. We also shared our thoughts on the new Netflix movie Let It Snow.
Four movies debuted at the box office this weekend and the surprising winner was the World War 2 epics Midway. Lot of battle scenes in that movie but can any of it compare to some of the best movie stunts of all time. We tried to figure out and rank the best. There was a lot of Game of Thrones news last week. We found out that the show's creators Benioff and Weiss will no longer be making their own Star Wars trilogy and that only one of the prequels will be moving forward on HBO and it's not the one with Naomi Watts. This week Ryan and Zach what the news means for all of the franchises involved going forward. They also share their thoughts on a franchise on what could be the end of The Terminator franchise - Terminator: Dark Fate and the Eddie Murphy biographical Nexflix comedy, Dolemite Is My Name.
